R34 Skyline GT-T vs Subaru Legacy RSK B4

Assume the Skyline is a 4 door.

Stats:

Skyline:
RB25DET 2.5ltr,6 cyl,dohc,turbo 206kw@6400rpm 363Nm@3200rpm
curb weight:
RWD

Legacy:
EJ20R 2Ltr flat 4 twin turbo, 206Kw@6500rpm, 350Nm@3100rpm
curb weight:1440KG (3024lb)
AWD

Which would you buy and why?

Which do you think is the best value for money.

My next choilce of car will probably come down to one of these...a while away yet though...haha. Anyway, they are both around the same price range in NZ at the moment $30-$40K, was wondering which storming 4-door you'd rather have!

if its the 2 door, i would get the skyline. its more of a performance car, if you want something 4 doors, i would pick the subaru. the subaru seems like it has more luxuries and has AWD which is somethign i really wish i have when it snows.

Umm...wrong engine code...that's what I thought it was too but it's not...it's RB25DETT...only in the R34 is the RWD version twin turbo...it probably puts out about close to the same HP as the GT-R...rated at 280HP

No you are wrong and MattG is right. It is a 2.5 litre single turbo or RB25DET, "NEO" the GTT Stands for Grand Turing Turbo

My answer would be for fun, sporty driving bla bla bla the GTT R34.

I've never liked Subaru sorry guys.

Its just not fair.

I read it some place but when I went back to see if I was right...I searched and searched and found no backing to it...so I back down...I knew something was fishy though

But I am paritally right saying that the R34 RB25DET has 280HP...the R32 ones had like 250HP

NISSSANSPDR I haven't checked on the engine thing yet, but as I understand it, the R34 GTR and the GTT "officially" (on paper) have the same HP output, but in reality the GTR has more HP, and also a lot more torque.

Yes the R34 GTT is rated by Nissan at 280hp. Though from what I've seen on the dyno for a stock standard one, it would suggest a bit less. Around the 260-265 mark.

The R33 GST25t's were rated at 250 and they also seemed a bit less than rated. Funny as the GTR's were under rated! Go figure.

heh. the gtst's and the gtt's where over rated to sell better. but the gt-r's had to be underrated in order to even be able to allowed to sell them. hehe see thats the difference.
