04 sentra advanced timing

Hello guys, I have this 04 Sentra 1.8S which I just replaced the head gasket it has 108,000 miles. The problem I have is that the engine light comes on with the code for P0011 which stands for intake camshaft timing over advanced. I already follow the procedure in trouble shooting this code and it checks out good. I even check crankshaft position, camshaft position and even redo more than once setting up my timing marks applying air to the intake camshaft orifice for advancing the timing according to instructions in aldata, but the problem persist so I dont know what else could be the problem or if the intake sprocket went bad or chain. So can you please tell me what could be wrong, oh by the way cylinder head was resurface so I don't know if this could cause any problem any sugestion
Thank You

Re: 04 sentra advanced timing

Just a hunch, but I wonder if it's possible that by resurfacing the head the timing marks cant properly allign, how much material was removed from the head? Why was it resurfaced in the first place?
