96 s10 no reverse

i have a 96 s10 it drives but no reverse what could be the problem

Auto or std?

If auto and full of fluid it is internal problems.
Time for a rebuild or another transmission.

No "R" and also no 2nd and 4th? If so the drive shell broke.
