Revell Datsun 720 4x4 pickup

Just started this. Not too much to the kit so I don't have a lot of photos. I am not sure how detailed I will go with the engine bay. I do want to go fairly detailed on the interior. I used to have one of these trucks so I have some good interior photos.

I went with the brown from the 720 my dad when I was a kid

Nice work, at first i thought it was the aoshima, but looked like the hood was open. So i read your description, sweet. Is this the 1/32? It looks big for a 1/32. Either way nice paint work. Good luck.

I really love the 1:1. Its in great shape, may i ask what year it is?

Re: Revell Datsun 720 4x4 pickup

It is a revell 1/24

That was my 1985. It had 140k miles and a bit of rust The craziest thing happened this weekend though!!!!!!

I was getting ready to start doing the turbo install on my BMW soon. I was literally going to start ordering parts this week. I did my daily CL check. What happened to show up for sale other than the most immaculate Nissan 720 extra cab 4x4 sport truck I have ever seen.

I went and bought it today at lunchtime It is truly a time capsule. 75k original miles and all records since new!!!!

Now I add another one of my favorite vehicles to my 1:1 collection lol. Unfortunately the turbo on the BMW will have to wait for now. Funny b/c last time I was getting her ready for turbo, I found my Datsun 510 lol.

Here are some photos I snapped with my cell when I picked her up. Too crumby out for good photos today.

It's a damn shame I painted the model before I bought this

Looks like a nice start! Paint looks good and seems you have plenty of references, keep it up!

Nice work on the body. I dare say it looks better than the real thing
