How much paint?
I got a body kit for my 96 civic ex and was wanting to paint it myself. I am just not sure how much paint, reducer, hardener, primer, and clearcoat I will need for the project. Thanks.

Re: How much paint?
Look on google. ppl sell small paint kits worth a shot. you might just need to judge how much u need. rather have extra than not enough, touch ups, and what not.

Well is it a all around... (front bumber, rear, skirts) or what... if u've got an all around then.... u need abt... 1 or 2 quarts... of paint... youre choice... 2 quarts reduce to 1 gallon... if mixed correct, hence one quart is half a gallon. ud need abt... 1 to two quarts of primer. goode enough for 3 coats... always wet sand before painting... but ull need 500 grit wet/dry sand paper... and one u buy the paint you can tell em to match the ruducer to paint... and.... just get a 2 quart clearcoat kit... complete with clear and activator. thats good for two wet coats.... this all shoul be enough for you to have some paint left over for those just in case moments... |
