can anyone tell me if a bed liner from a 2005 ranger extended cab will fit a 2000 ranger regular cab?

I would assume not. Extended cab Rangers have a few inches difference from regular cab Rangers, at least in any literature I've seen. Even a difference of one inch would leave an unsightly gap that would be a magnet for debris and moisture.
