EFI fuse blown
This pickup died on my wife. I found the 15 amp fuse in the box under the hood was blown, does this control the fuel relay?
Do any of you know why this fuse may have blown? 1989 22re pickup extend cab 4X4 manual transmission Last edited by 1999windstar; 10-26-2009 at 10:27 PM. |

Re: EFI fuse blown
What does the fuse box cover indicate the blown fuse is for?
Fuses blow because of a load more than the rated current, including a short. Where/how did you find your wife? Yeah, there's some sarcasm there, because the post isn't to clear.

Re: EFI fuse blown
The heading of the post states that it was the EFI fuse. I just want a idea where to start looking for a short or what ever might cause the fuse to blow.

Re: EFI fuse blown
I found help on Yotatech. It was the oxygen sensor wire, they fell down on the exhaust and shorted out there.
