old engine

got bored and stuck this together for fun. about 20 mins of work

That's kickass but why is the coil wire going into the valve cover?? Or is that the coil on top of the head?

I love the leaking pan. How did you do that? The oil looks real

how did you make the engine stand? i have been trying for a while and i never get it right, but it does look great.

Quite abused to be 20 minutes old....
Ok in other words good weathering

But.... I'm more interested in the story of those 1/24 barrell cap.....
Is it supposed to be 1/24 Jack Daniel ageing gear? Or bolted "Amarone"?

thanks guys,

I dug around my junk box and found an engine that was glued together, i just had to paint it. by the time the glued up popsicle sticks for the base dried everything was done.

it came in an AMT kit. a Nova if i remember right.

Is this a Ford L6? What kit is this from? I need to find a Chevy L6 for my Nova model. Do you know of any kits that have a Chevy L6 motor? I have the AMT Nova and it's a V8. Maybe different kit though.
