Cool The White Stripes - Elephant

Woah.

I bought their previous album "White Blood Cells" and loved it. Bought this on Saturday. Even better. Jack White is a brilliant songwriter, and the music is just so irreverent. One track, "Theres No Home For You Here" even sounds like Queen. This album is a great mix of blues and rock, I love it. Woohoo!!

Only thing is,they confuse the fuck out of me. Are they brother and sister or ex husband and wife?

Never heard of Fugazi or Modest Mouse, and you're the first person I've seen call The White Stripes indie...oh well, to each their own

Really dig their single "Seven Nation Army," though I don't intend to pick up their new album.

Seven Nation Army is great, but there is far better stuff on the album...Little Acorns, Black Math, There's No Home For You Here, Ball and Biscuit....
