What is the best way to remove stickers and sticker film from the glass of your windows without scratching the window?

Most people use a straight edge razor blade type scraper.
Most Parts places should have them.
My wife and I have used one with same razor blade in one for years

I just use dishwashing soap with a good razor blade scraper.

the soap eliminates the sticking goo..smears..

using a cotton cloth to wipe up the mess.is best ...paper causes more streaks/smears/haze.

WD-40 on a shop rag will remove it.

i soak a blue shop towel in goo gone and saturate the sticker and edges. let is set 5 mins or so then remove with a utility knife razor blade. once removed used the cloth with the goo gone and scrub the rest of the residue off the window. wash with windex, dry, and your good to go. goo gone is awesome stuff this method works on every surface. i use it when changing the graphics on my dirtbike aswell with no scratching to the plastic which is alot softer than glass. also you want to use just the blade not the whole knife and hold the blade at 45 degrees to the window. less you just skim the sticker greater you score the window. good luck

ive always just used a straight edge razor, works like a charm. Be careful not to hurt yourself.

Also you can try a hair dryer to heat it up so it is easy to take off with a razor blade or widget.

A squirt of windex or window cleaner as you work the sticker off helps lubricate the blade and keeps the edge from gumming up. Plus after the sticker is removed, another squirt or two helps to keep the residual gum from smearing around as you remove it with the blade.

And make sure you use a new blade. Old blades can have contaminants like dirt stuck to the edge that can scratch the glass.

Finally, a common mistake is to apply a sticker right over defroster elements on the rear glass. This requires alot of patience and finesse to keep the element from peeling away with the sticker. Cut the sticker into sections in between the elements. Then use the blade to get close to the element edges (keep far enough away so you don't even nick them, causing them to split and peel off with the sticker), then give a few squirts of cleaner or goo gone and peel the sticker back onto itself, squirting as you go.

A little Acetone, or finger nail polish remover.

Your local Auto parts store should have a spray sticker remover!

Acetone (in nail polish remover) can damage and discolor the plastic trim and dash if spilled or dripped on. I wouldn't recommend such a strong solvent for this application.
