96 dash and cluster

Will a 96 dash and cluster fit into a 92? If so any special wiring to get the cluster to work? Thanks.

Re: 96 dash and cluster

as a addendum to this post I have tried to swap a 9c1 cluster from a 92 caprice into my standard clustered caprice. there is a post here that said it was direct swap. It is not. the 9c1 has two plugs on the cluster, the standard has one. I tried to just run the wiring harness from the 9c1 cluster but everything does not work. Also the oil sending unit needs to be changed. Here is a site on a guy that has done this swap three times.

If anyone can happen to find this guys homepage so I can contact him on the specifics of this it would be appreciated. Or if anyone can rewire the harness, I will send it to them along with a fee as long as its not too outrageous.
