1999 saturn intermittent start when hot
AFter driving 15-20 minutes, may not start for a few hours but usually does. battery full charged, all interior lights work, dash lights, etc..when you turn ingition switch...nothing. can't not be jumped. no click, nothing-goodyear service center says it is always starting...(but have had to replace entire fuse box and wiring at $800-$900) most of the time, no issues, has done this 3 times in the last few months-i lean towards starter replacement but maybe there is a better idea out there

Re: 1999 saturn intermittent start when hot
Its pretty common for the center counsel fuse block to burn up the ignition 1 fuse terminal. Saturn has the connector, fuseblock, and pigtail readily available. In fact if you called them they could probably rattle off the part #'s and cost off the top of there head.
There are other symptoms when this is the problem. Things like the door chimes, I/P lights, Keyless entry etc will not work. It is pretty easy to pull the bulkhead connector off and see if it is burnt. If it is it will cause this problem soon if it is not the cause now!
