HELP!! Stripped bolt on fuel filter
I was trying to change the fuel filter on my 98 civic and stripped the bottom bolt. I got the top one off ok but the bottom one wouldnt come off for any thing. I went and got a flare wrench, but it was too late and the bolt is stripped. How can I get this off and can I just replace the bolt or will i need a new fuel line???

Re: HELP!! Stripped bolt on fuel filter
You may try using some vice-grips to get it off. The way the way the bolt is on the line it looks you may have to get a new fuel line. Here is a link for the line at south bay honda http://www.hondapartscheap.com/southbay/jsp/prddisplay.jsp?hidSwitch=&hidIrno=&catcgry1=CIVIC& catcgry2=1998&catcgry3=2DR+EX&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcg ry5=FUEL+PIPE+%282%29&vinsrch=no&ListAll=&prdrefno =&act=&count=0&quantity=0
They have pretty good prices and it's all genuine honda parts. I've ordered from them multiple times and have been very satisfied. Good luck!
