Tranny slipping? 2003 Grand Prix SE

2003 Pointiac Grand Prix SE, 101,000 miles. Had Tranny flush a year ago.

When I am at a stop sign and push the gas, my Grand Prix, jerks forward. It feels like it is trying to get in another gear. It isn't consistently happening either. What should I check first?

Take the car to a tranny shop and have them scan the transmission. This sounds like you may have a stuck solenoid. The scan should tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to see if you want to repair it or not.
