Re: it got a wobble!?! Help.

Whoaaaa. Hold your horses and don't crank it anymore... Your crank should NOT be wobbling like that... This is probably what was causing your timing belt to work its way off in the other thread you had... Your gonna need to replace it. Any attempts of bending it back will weaken the crankshaft and cause bigger problems for you on down the road... Any stories of what happened to this motor before that could have caused this?

Turns out the kid I bought the car from is a total F***ing Idiot he swears the car ran great and everything before I got it. The car was in pieces when i got it I paid 350 bucks for it I have had the engine down to block. From what i can tell the car had to have thrown a timing belt at one time. the piston not the far right but next one had a dent in it like it had a valve come into it. I put new head cams valves springs retainers timing belt (PS i put the new tentioner pullies belt still works to the same spot and sits.) now i notice this after all that. I have replaced all moduals for fuel ignition etc. Still cant figure out why when I turn the lights on it clicks but no lights.... And to top it all off i dont know if the clutch or tranny or any of that is good cause i have never herd it run yet especialy since the moron i got it from towed it by wheel lift with only the front wheels up in.......... story of my car........ LOL

Re: it got a wobble!?! Help.

You should have a 6 bolt in there so yes you should be able to use that crank. It looks like the actual crank is bent, idk how in the hell someone could even do that.

Re: it got a wobble!?! Help.

Based on your story, my suggestion would be to go over everything in that car... I would pull motor and tranny and just go over the basics. Get the tranny checked out or replace it with a known good used one and a matching transfer case. Especially if he towed it with the rear wheels on the ground. That's a great way to destroy the drivetrain... Make sure if you do have to replace the tranny or transfer case that your splines match up. There were 22, 23 and 24 spline drivetrains IIRC... I would get a new clutch, get the flywheel checked out and a used 6 bolt crank that is not bent. I would take the whole motor to a machine shop to get checked out to see if your rods or pistons are jacked up and if the cylinder walls are scarred at all from the previous owner. God knows what he did to it in order to bend the crank like that... Then get it all balanced after you replace any necessary parts that need replaced. Get your head checked to make sure your valves are not bent and are seating correctly... After that you should be good mechanical wise... I would go over all your electronics in the engine bay to make sure they are good and in working order. It sounds like the thing was a mess when you got it for only paying 350 bucks... Or you could scrap the whole car and get your money back and get another one for a little more that isn't so jacked up with problems. lol...

Re: it got a wobble!?! Help.

You think you could get away with spending less then or equal to 350 USD for a motor, tranny and transfer case? I would shoot for 4-8 times that depending on the deals you find and what you want to do with it.

Re: it got a wobble!?! Help.

Yes it should bolt right up to it. Is it a 6 bolt motor you found? I'd at least do the clutch while you have it all apart rather than having to do it again if it's shot.
