Rear Heater Fan

I have an 04 Freestar with rear heat and air. The fan no longer blows?? When you turn the fan on I can hear a click for every setting but no blowing

Can anyone give some help on what I might be able to do??

Thanks

Re: Rear Heater Fan

Here is a link to a photo of the '04 Freestar rear blower assembly area, after the inside trim has been removed. If you look at the lower left photo corner you see the blower motor assembly with a rectangular plastic box cover attached on the top side, under that plastic cover box, there is a relay assembly for the blower, your relay may be bad, sticking, or the blower motor may be dead. I would check the relays 1st.

The motor has some screws that hold the plate assembly on, and a rubber vent tube that can be pulled out for removal. Hope it helps, Good Luck!

Try typing the link into your internet browser address window, hit the enter key, and it should take you right to the photo.

Re: Rear Heater Fan

Typing it in worked.

Turns out the power wire to the fan motor had uncliped so its now zip tied in place so it doesn't unclip it self again.

Thanks for the reply.
