painting body gaps

How are you all painting the gaps for the doors, fuel door etc.?

I always have such a hard time getting them perfect.

Re: painting body gaps

Does anyone have a link to a thread on the water wash or any other methods? I was using acrylic with a fine brush and then wiping the excess away with a damp towel. But it still never comes out how I want it.

This tutorial is made by the great modeller Alex Kustov (360spider on this forum).

This is the method I use with great success

Hope this helps!
