Arrow Cutlas pulley broke engine overheated and now i do not now if it will run.

Ok i was driving home when i was turning at a light the steering got hard the light for the battery whent on and a few seconds later the temperature light whent on also. It only overheated for a minute at the most i am just worried thou if the engine might of been harmed. The pulley that broke was one that is just used to hold the serpentine belt in place. When i opened up the hood the radiator was steaming and bubbling and i saw the belt and later on found the remains of the pulley which broke it was by the firewall. What do you think will the engine be fine? Any comments will be great please and thank you.

Welcome to Af, in the future post in the Cutlass forum below. Fix the pulley and belt, see what happens, there is no other way to tell other than get it running.
