1999 Blazer won't start

Started out it would roll over slow, changed battery still didn't start right , wouldn't roll at all, had starter rebuild today brushes where bad, had them put on new solanoid put it all back together tried to start, nothing, lights all work but not even a click from starter, what can be wrong? cables are all clean and tight. What can I check next? Forgot to say starter worked fine at shop that rebuild it many times he tried it.

Key on start position.
Check for 12 volts to small purple wire to starter solenoid.

For a starter test jumper 12 volts to purple wire at solenoid.
Let us know if key in start puts 12 volts to purple wire.

Re: 1999 Blazer won't start

If no 12 volts on purple start wire key in start position.

The ign switch in start position feeds the crank fuse in underhood box.
The crank fuse feeds the clutch pedal switch std. or transmission range switch in park or neutral automatic.
Then it goes to starter relay which is powered by ing. A fuse.
Then from starter relay to starter solenoid on purple wire.
Any problem in them things can cause a no start.

Get the old test light or volt meter and see where it is losing it.
Let us know how it goes.

Re: 1999 Blazer won't start

Read post 3.
It runs from starter relay to starter solenoid.
If it has shorted it may have burnt some other stuff.
check starter relay and fuses good.

Replace with same sise wire.
You can splice it in any place handy between starter relay in fuse box and solenoid.
And solder connection/splice.
LET USE KNOW HOW IT GOES.
Good luck
