98 sunfire cutting out/ stalling
After i had a new gas tank installed in a 1998 sunfire 2.2, i am having problems with the car cutting out and stalling while driving. its hard to start after it stalls and usually had to sit for about 10 mins. could this have something to do with the tank install? reversed fuel lines maybe or power/ground wires?

Re: 98 sunfire cutting out/ stalling
I would check the pump wiring, etc. Even though you may have to take the tank back off. One of the sunfires I had the wires were bad coming out of the junction in back. Also, who knows, maybe the suction for the pump got restricted. If it never did it before the tank was off you know it's gotta be the same area (ideally)
