You can do spindles for about $500 and they are easy to put on yourself. It'll take an hour or two. I'd stay away from body lifts. They aren't good for your truck. They interfere with the steering comonents and structual integrity of the bed. I think they look stupid, too. The exhaust and hitch will be too low and the gaps on the side will look funny too. For some kits go to Fabtech.com, Procomp.com or Orw.com.

If you have decided on a body lift, the 3 inch kit is good. It will contain a machined piece for your steering shaft, a piece of tubing to lengthen the fuel filler hose, and the rear bumper brackets. The hoses and brake lines have enough extra slack to stretch the 3 inches. The day before, spray all the body bolts with penetrating oil. It'll make it a lot easier. A 3 inch lift kit will run about $200 compared to about $1000 to have a shop do it for you. For some kits go to Suspensionconnection.com, Roughcountry.com or Jackit.com.
