Recently, I had a problem with the SERVICE 4WD light coming on intermittently and discovered that it could be repaired by re-soldering the pin connections on the pushbutton unit. The repair worked fine , but I now notice that the back lights for the pushbutton unit aren't working. It's really no big deal except the buttons are a little harder to find in the dark. Is there a fuse for that light circuit?

Re: 2000 GMC Sierra 4WD pushbutton lights
Go buy a new switch and most dealers stock them since they are big problem. The 4wd switch is not worth fixing
