96 2.4 starter

can some help i need to know how many and what color wires are going to the starter.? i know the red from the batt. but cant rembember the other ones and how many. thanks for any help you can give.

There should be another red cable that goes from the B+ terminal to the fuse box.

Some have the alternator connected to the B+ terminal at the starter as well, this is usually a blue fuseable link that disappears into that black protective stuff.

The exciter wire goes to the "S" terminal (if labeled), is usually purple in color.
