I just got a used 2003 honda civic hybrid cvt. the engine check light just came on and the "D" keeps blinking.also, the ima has gone crazy. the diagnosis read "70-02 a/t system malfunction"...please what's wrong, someone help me.

Since the check engine light (CEL) is illuminated, there is at least one current diagnostic code. You need to connect a scan tool and pull the diagnostic code(s). That will be step 1 in diagnosing the issue.
For specifics on what might be causing the IMA to "go crazy" you should consider moving your thread to the Civic specific forum. Are you referring to the IMA display in the dash, or the whole integrated motor assist system? -Rod |

hello,
i took it to the mechanics and the code was "70-02 a/t system malfunction". and once the D starts blinking (after some few meters), the ima doesnt work and the "ima" light comes on. my mechanic doesnt seem to know the code "translation". please help out thanks, SKB |
