just got a 1990 240 need help!
hi i just got my 1990 240sx and i have a little problem.when im in fourth and fifth gear the car seems to cut out at around four thaousand rpm.the motor doesnt die it just bogs out real bad and o have to push in the cluth and ghive it a rev thaen it fine again for awhile. i was told by the guy i gotr it from to change the ecu so i did but it didnt help.....PLZ help me out i an really new to this car!!!

If i remember correctly, I had a similar issue with my 240, and it turned out to me one of the vac lines to the intake.

the car cane with the original air box gone and a cone filter for a replacment. so should i look for the original box?

iirc they all had fuel cuts at 4k in 4th and 5th? ecu programming.
