Re: Toyota FT-86 concept
I thought so too at first, but if they can get a turbo subaru engine with 250 hp and keep the weight down, this car can still be really fast. Remember the MR-2s? I saw Toyota might already be planning a track/lightweight version of the FT-86. If they don't up the boost for this car, we could probably do it aftermarket, don't you think?
Here's the link to the track variant (hopefully) in the works: http://acceltimes.com/news/12/Toyota...orts-coupe.php |

Re: Toyota FT-86 concept
subaru boxer motors are a PITA to work on. i'd rather it have a 3sgte in it or some other I4 turbo variant. looks really nice though, i'd definitely consider getting one if that's really the price bracket they're aiming for.

Thanks, that's good to know, I've never owned a Subie. I had a Celica GT back in the day, that was super easy to work on, but not turbo to deal with Hopefully the price doesn't creep up to $30K with options.
