swapping V6 for my I4

can I swap my I4 for a v6 engine that is out of a ford probe. I have a 96 se 5 speed, and the v6 is out of a 94 se 5 spd

Welcome to AF!

Yes, it is possible, but requires changing a lot of parts. The tranny, wiring harness, most accessories, motor and transmission mounts and computer need to be changed over. You pretty much need to take everything out from under the hood and and the computer and wiring to change over from one car to the other.

I agree. Most used Probes are pretty cheap these days, regardless of the engine. It's probably cheaper and easier to sell your Probe and buy a decent V6 car.... if you can find one

Ford Probes are worth nothing and do not sell since they are a big POS.Had problems with seat belts with them and the automatic transmissions were junk.I have heard of guys taking them to the boneyard,running or not since the probe was not a good car.
