Running Rich....HELP!!!!

I just installed a b16 into my 90 CRX DX. I also installed a Jackson Racing Supercharger with the AEM fuel rail. I am running EXTTREMLY rich, I tries just about everything I could think of with the fuel sytem but still am getting no luck. I checked the ECU code and I think im getting a 14. What would be casueing this to run so rich? Bad injectors? not enough spark? Any help will be appriciated. thanks!

what kind of ecu are you using? You may want to get a Air/Fuel Controller so you can adjust mixture properly.

yes it will, among other things that you need especially with a supercharger...aftermarket fuel pump, regulator and gauge. Stock PR3's fuel map is designed for a stock motor. If you can get a hold of a stage 3 or 4 hondata (programmable chip) for your pr3...it should make a world of a difference. they're quite pricey though.

I would first check your oxygen sensor. When a oxygen sensor goes bad it puts the ECU into "limp mode" which cause a rich condition. The car goes into to limp mode to protect the car from getting damage from running lean. Does the car idle good ? Does hesistate any ?

No, not bad but with the JR supercharger you often need to use a "missing link". Do a search on missing link on like google and you should find all the info that you need there. I found a few good pages on it before. When the MAP sensor dosen't send the right signal to the ECU you will have the problems like what your having. VERY rich and the car will hesistate. I believe that people sell them on ebay too.

I believe that you put it inbetween the vaccum line.

I just emailed Synapse Engineering, the company that makes the link, and he emailed me back and said this would not correct my problem, what else could it be?

Does it idle rough? Maybe too high fuel pressure ?
