well when i thought i needed a new clutch i took my car to my uncle who's a honda tech and we drove it. What he did was drove it slammed on the gas and shifted to see if it would grab and let go. then we were just driving in like second gear and he just threw it into 5th gear and pretty much dumped the clutch to see if the clutch grabbed so try that and if it grabbs your clutch is fine. also i heard if u can start in 3rd gear either u need a new clutch or its fine im not sure so if n e one knows please tell.

Hmm well sorry i couldnt help yeah there. I guess if you have the time take the tranny off look at the pressure plate and the disc and see how bad the wear is. It might be a good idea to get a clutch either way right now to save u money in the future and can start fresh.
