Changing lighter socket
I have a 99 sebring lxi and the lighter isnt working. Ive tried using my phone charger and its not working either. Ive looked at the fuses and they are fine, so I am thinking it may be the socket itself. I am trying to replace it but cant seem to get it out of the center console piece. Does anyone know how to remove it so I can get it replaced?

I think the lighter socket is screwed into the back of the lower fascia panel... I took mine apart a few years back and think I remember it being screwed or clamped in... Good luck finding a new one!
