blinkers

Blinkers keep working on and off. Turn car off the blinker work then they stop working as you drive. I look for the relay but no blinker relay is listed.

Re: blinkers

2001 alero 3.4 liter. I took out the hazard relay unit behind the hazard button after reading other posting. Do you think that is the problem. The blinker are very intermitent.

Re: blinkers

It's either the hazard relay in the hazard light switch (most common cause, check if you are eligible for free replacement due to the recall) or the multifunction switch in the steering column. The multi switch can be cleaned, which usually solves the problem.
