Does anyone hate their care with a passion?

I absolutely hate my car with a passion, and I'm still paying for it! Since day 3 of having my car, I got a dent in the hood that took off paint with it. To fix it would cost me $600. This however, was 4yrs ago. Now, there are so many things wrong with it, that I just want to blow it up. Recently I got in a small fender bender which took out one of the front grills, and caved in the hood a little bit.

Besides that, it seems like Mitsubishi used some really cheap blank paint. So I have all these little white scratches EVERYWHERE. Also, a couple months ago my window fell down. I was told it was the regulator. Well I don't really have money to fix that. So after trying to think of a way to hold the window up, I got an idea. So I took off the door panel, and attached this metal clips to the rail is it couldn't fall.

Well in the process, I lost a screw, can't figure out where a couple of em go. Some won't go in. The handle/lock thing doesn't sit right anymore. Spring popped off handle, and I have no idea how to reattach it. So yeah, wow, that felt good to vent. But seriously, I HATE my car. I wish someone would steal it, or vandalize the crap out of it. I bet you when I get a brand new car one day, then I will get vandalized! Such a cruel world we live in!

Re: Does anyone hate their care with a passion?

Mitsubishi has had some quality issues with their cars in the past.... just look at the JD Power surveys from 4 years ago....... but it looks like you have had some bad luck.

FWIW pretty much everyone really hates the first ding or blemish their cars get. It's part of new car ownership.

The first new car (Jeep) I bought got the quarter panel caved in when it was on the dealer lot..... after I had bought it, but before I took delivery. So my brand new car came equipped with slightly mismatched paint, sloppy seam-welds and a mising rub-strip... even before I drove it.

Mind you, 2 years later I drowned it in a mud and sand-filled river.......

BTW this kind of rant really belongs in "Stress Relief' as it is not related to the vintage Muscle Cars that usually occupy this subforum.

^ dealer screwed you over big time. Sad story.

Worst car I've ever seen, heard about, driven, or looked at. Acura MDX... under powered over priced. horrible gas mileage, ugly as hell, unreliable, uncomfortable, and not to mention inconvenient. They have to little areas where stuff falls in between the center counsel and the seats. so anoying
