fog lights

i just installed the factory kit for foglights.the wiring and install was easy,but how do i get the computer to recognize the new lights ? pushing the foglight switch does nothing. what inputs do i need to program the computer?2000 silverado.

I believe the BCM needs to be programed..

yes the BCM definately needs to be programed.the BCM need to know to send power to the lights.
