1999 pontiac sunfire serpentine belt repalcement

yes, i have a question about replacing this belt. is there a special wrench to use to release the tension off the belt tensioner. there is not enough room to use a ratchet and socket. if so what is the called, all help will be appreciated.

2.2 or 2.4?

2.4 you'll be using a 13mm (i think might be 14 or 15mm) box end wrench. The long reach versions of those wrenches work the best but you can do it with a regular length.

Ditto my 2.2 l Sunfire; I got a large wrench and pushed down on the tensioner to release the belt and same to reinstall. Major PITA though, no way a standard ratchet or breaker will get in there.
