Way2old!

Always a pleasant surprise when you stop by the Forum! Is it o.k. if we call you "Uncle Way2old"?

"Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds" I"m workin on my 2nd half century. Hang in there, Mel Brooks still plays Golf twice a week and he's the "The 2000 Year Old Man." In fact, if my math is correct, he's in his in his Mid 2030's! He's about to go thru his 201 st mid- centennial crisis? I wonder what his combined monthly alimony payments come to? I know he's made a crap- load of movies but still!

Re: Way2old!

I am well into my second halfcsentury. I took the way2old name cause my techs told me I was way too old to work anymore when I accepted a manager position at work. I still think somewhere in the back of my mind I have a 16 year old spot I visit occasionally. So I think it will be a little while before I hang it completely up. It is fun beating the younger techs with all the fancy tools when they forget the basics are most likely the cause. A scan tool will not find a broken timing chain guide. It will show a difference in the timing, but how many techs will admit they don't know what the specs are supposed to be?

Gul-dern Wipper-snappers! When their minds are weak, their feet get no rest! Fun to watch though! "Hey, Who keeps moving the Spittoon!" Are you worried about the day Teletransporters may force your into considering a career change?
