Brake problems

I have a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville

When I drive the pedal goes to the floor and hardly stops

I am getting good pressure to the LF wheel and the RR wheel, I am not getting pressure to the RF, or the LR. So the car is stopping with only two wheels.

I can not find a mettering valve on the car, It seems to be built into the ABS control unit.

I have tried bleeding out of order, bleeding out the ABS unit, Master and doesn't matter still can't get pressure at RF and LR wheel.

If anyone has run across this problem, or knows a solution, please post a reply

Thanks in advance

Re: Brake problems

Have replaced the master and the ABS pump, front claipers and one steel brakes line running from the Abs pume to R.R wheel.

Still only have pressure to the two wheels, I have noticed that if I open all four bleeders and push and hold the pedal, fluid will spray out all four but once tightend back up, same problem

Re: Brake problems

Most likely the abs unit must be bled, this must be done with a special scanner, by a dealer or a shop with the proper programmed scanner. BTW always post the year of the car and start a new thread for better responses.

Re: Brake problems

93 Bonneville
I have had the ABS pump bleed, now I am getting pressure to 3 wheels but still no fluid to the LR wheel.

I have noticed that in the brake line running to both rear wheels, there is something that kind of looks like a metering valve?

I don't have one in the RR line but do On the LR, could that be restricting the pressure going to the LR and pushing more fluid to the RR?

Brake flex hoses have been replaced as well

I am related to Erik Z and just trying to help him out
