Buzzing humm in the dash

The moment I turn on the ignition of my 2006 GT. I get a low level buzzing humm in the dash. It is relay controled since when I turn the key off the buzzing ceases and an audible RELAY click is heard. Before I dig into the dash, wiring, etc. I thought I would get some input from the AF GURU"S. I have looked in the AF search forum for answers but nothing seems to pinpoint to what the buzz I hear is. Thanks for any replies in advance.

I just bought an 05 GPGT, and noticed the same thing, my 2000 GT did not have this noise but the newer cars got the series III 3800 with its throttle by wire controls and other small changes. I thought maybe it was the ABS pump, is your traction/ABS lights coming on in the dash?

Thanks for the reply. Everything SEEMS to be normal. The GT has the dual climate control system, heated seats control etc. They all are working normally. At startup all the function indicator lights in the dash do their self check thing. The buzz is only present when the ignition switch is in the run position. Absent when the switch is in accessory or off position. Thanks for any reply.
