4x4 problem

99 with 4 push button selector


pushed 4 high to drive up ramps and it engaged in 4 low and is now stuck there. pushing other buttons does nothing.

the quickest and easiest thing to do at this point, is to disconnect the battery and leave it for a few minutes. Reconnect, start the truck and try getting it back into 4high and then to 2wd. If its flashing at this point, out the truck in reverse and a slowly reverse and see if that get it out of 4lo.

Nope, not working with battery disconnect.

You are trying to get it out with the trans in neutral? Have you checked the connection at the transfer case, & or is there a fuse? Just some food for thought. Mine up to now has never given me any trouble but I do use it a lot.

Trans in neutral. It went into low when I pushed 4x high and I was in park or drive.


Connections are OK on case...unplugged Both and they looked fine.

When I turn the key to on, you can hear the tccm make some noise like a relay cycling.


They want 125 at the junk yard for one.

Any on know the part # for a new TCCM for a 99 blazer with 4 button control with auto button

15154323 on outside of box.
