Lamp Control Module (LCM)

I know about the PCM, the BCM, but I just found an, "LCM" (Lamp Control Module) in my book.

What Lamps does this LCM control?

Chris.

Re: Lamp Control Module (LCM)

Check out the wiring diagrams for your car @ AZ repair info & you can see what lights the LCM controls.

Re: Lamp Control Module (LCM)

Chances are you have daytime running lamps, do you by chance have Twilight ? The LCM would control the lamps if you have that option.. It would control you exterior lamps, and automatically turn the lights on when dark..

The interior lamps would most likely be controlled by the MALL module.... IIRC your lock functions, keyless functions, Illuminated entry functions would all go through the MALL module..

Re: Lamp Control Module (LCM)

Thank you for the reply.

No daytime running lights, or twilight (whatever that is).

This helps out a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Chris.
