third brake light?

on my 99 sts the third brake light doesnt light up all the way across how do i replace the bulbs? i did pull the carpet back in the trunk but i got nothing any help?

I believe that is a one piece unit the " bulbs" cannot be replaced, check with a Cadillac parts dept.

I'm pretty sure it's an LED unit, and is not servicable.
