What's the secret to removing the wiper arms on a Cavalier -1995?

Re: Simple question
Take the nut off, remove the arm from the stud. A battery terminal puller helps on some vehicles (thread the nut half way onto the stud to give the center screw a place to sit). If you can't get a puller on there, use a large flat screwdriver to pry up. With either of these methods, tapping on the side of the wiper arm with a plastic/rubber hammer (or metal if you don't care what it looks like) will help to break it loose.

Re: Simple question
Thanks. So-there's no release pin hidden that I'm not seeing.
