1993 Thunderbird, no tail, parking or dash lights
I have no tail lights, dash lights or parking lights. The head lights work. I replaced the light switch and then they worked for a day. Now nothing again. I used a jumper wire from the hot wire on the wiring connector to them individually and they will come on. If I pull the switch all the way out and then push back in not quit a 1/4 inch they come on but then the head lights will go off. The rod has been inserted and taken back out around 20 times. So that is in correct. After I found out they would come on by pushing back in part way the original switch acts that way also.

Re: 1993 Thunderbird, no tail, parking or dash lights
Welcome to the forum tusco1792. It sounds like another bad switch. Did you replace the old one with a brand new one? A new one from Ford is about $65.00.

Re: 1993 Thunderbird, no tail, parking or dash lights
No I didn't replace with one from Ford. I got one from Autozone. After they quit working the second time I took that switch back and got another. So basicly have had three different switches. The original I took out was not a Ford switch either so somebody had replaced it previously. I have had the car for about 6 yr's with no problems. Locally a Ford switch is $72 and will have to order. I looked into that before going back to Autozone.

There are some Ford dealers that sell wholesale to the public. Check the internet for one near you or try this one that I use. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=213787

Found my problem. Wire burnt off at the fuse block.
