blower motor

i have a 2006 silverado the blowers high speed #5 not working. anyone else have this trouble.

Yes, I have the same problem. I havent found the fix yet. I think that there is a seperate fuse for the high position on the fan motor, but I dont have any blown fuses. Still looking for the cure for this problem.

it's more then likely the blower motor resistor and also the wiring pigtail that plug onto the resistor are known to have burn contacts.Dorman makes them both.and you can get them at any auto parts store.

Mine will work every so often, i think mabe the resistor.. I know one thing this is the las GM product i buy... and i have had GM all my life. but the last 10 years or so there more trouble than there worth.. thanks guys..
