Red face My headlights start flashing after 30 minutes or so...Please help

Ok..... So whenever I drive at night my headlights will start flashing off and on. Sometimes if I turn them off and right back on it stops but only sometimes...Do I have a short or something?? Please help...

Oh Yeah I should probably add that I drive a 97 Chevy blazer. You might need to know that...

Oh Yeah I should probably add that I drive a 97 Chevy blazer. You might need to know that...
Check head light switch.
And headlight switch plug in for lose or burnt wire on plugin.
Check for power in and power out when flashing.
Most have a circuit breaker made in them.
Does it do same thing on dim or bright.

If it was shorted or lose connection it usually would do it more often.

And remember 97 is a bad year on ign switches.
Good reason to check power into head light switch lose.
If good power in and flashing lose of power.
Replace headlight switch.
