Re: CHIN Event at Barber

I think your route to Barber is pretty much all interstate. Our route from down here is a bit more interesting....

We are staying at the hotel listed on Chin's website under the details for that event. You can save a few bucks booking online too.

Tom,

As Jim said the trip to Barber is boring. I drive one mile to I-20 drive for 4.5 hours get off I-20 and drive one mile to the race track. Yea we can convoy I am not sure when I am going to leave. The track does't open until 5 pm I think.

Mike and Jim

There is a Motorcycle Museun at Barber that is worth seeing. Pomroy got a chance to see it last year and said they had a lot of cool Cycles and Cars. My plan this year is to get to the track by 3:00 pm so I would have enough time to go through.

Re: CHIN Event at Barber

David, that sounds good. The map says I'm 9 hours away. I'll plan on trying to make that and hopefully won't get slowed down with weather, etc.

Re: CHIN Event at Barber

Anyone want to split a room? Let me know as I'm ready to book a room. I'm married, own assault weapons, drink beer, and I think Obama is a commie. Additional references upon request.

Yesterday, I conducted a sociology test by wearing my NRA hat to the SAFE event at Sebring and made several new friends. One guy walked up and just started talking to me like we were old friends. As I thought about it, I guess we were...

Also, 3 different people approached me about the car... where I got it...how much I paid for it, etc. "Buyer" type questions. I thought that was interesting.
