What's the first car I should buy in the game?

I know I'm years late but I just got this game recently and was wondering which car I should start the game out with? Thanks for any help given.

i started the game with the mitsu evo GS 7 i think something like that, i won all the beginner and rally races with it.

i started with the miata

go with the Miata. i started with it and won every beginner race i could enter in with it.

I went with the AE86, just because.

i went with the miata....the ae86 proved too slow for me and u can enter more races with the miata.......the first 2 sets, 80's, convertible, na, turbo,

I started with the Suzuki because its cheaper and you win more money when you compete in the light weight class.

I started in an AE86, because I like the car and I would have enough cash to tune it a bit so I would start the game with an advantage. I raced it enough to buy a Camaro Z28, and raced that enough to tune it to 500hp to race in higher classes, then bought an Evo 6 I think for 4WD clasees.

since i had to start over that's what i just did....then switch to the faster skyline to get all your other cars

If you really wanted to start with a good car, you could get all golds in one of the licenses and take the car you win from it and mod it with the money you start with.

When I got the game, the first thing I did was complete the licenses. Im glad I did it at the begining. Of course, this is my 3rd time through the game, so

Thanks people! I have an AE-86 now and I HATE IT!!! (only in the game!) I think I'm gonna start over and get a Miata!
