AMT makes one as a kit if you can find one.

You can scratch-build one with stylene, and parts-box rims/tires, etc.

I am also working on a trailer that will be mainly scratchbuilt with the exception of the wheels, some suspension componets and other small things. As for your size question you would just have to measure the car you want the trailer to hold and build it accordingly. A typical real life trailer is not much wider than the car it will carry. Length is varaible for if you want a storage comparment up front, as mine will have, or if you just want it to be one car length. Good luck and I hope it comes out as planned.

I started building one yeterday. It's the first thing I've ever scratch built, and looks pretty good. I am using styrene sheets, styrene strips for a little lip along the sides, and styrene square tubing for the frame. The trailer measures 8" long by 3 1/2" wide. The car sits on 1" wide tracks(?) with a 1 1/2" gap in the middle, so you can see the square tube frame running sideways. I think the dimensions are good, because it will hold my Fujimi Civic or my Tamiya Castrol Supra, and they look perfect on it. Good luck with yours.
