Re: 350 powerstroke

The 6.0 powerstroke is a huge POS and Jasper can prove this.Jasper puts in over 30 improvements for the 6.0 starting starting with the first year 6.0s.I seen the sheet of the improvements Jasper puts in for improvements.6.0s do have injector problems too

Re: 350 powerstroke

You deffinitly don't want to replace the head gaskets on these engines. From what my Ford tech friend told me they are a pain in the A** and very expensive. I have heard nothing but problems comming from chipping these engines. Be careful

Re: 350 powerstroke

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I know people that have had nothing but good with the 6.0 and I also know some people who have all sorts of problems. I dont know if I will chip it or anything, I was looking for advice before I make a decision.

Re: 350 powerstroke

This is thre last year for the powerstroke,Ford is building their own diesel, called a Scorpian diesel.and Ford should of put in the Cummins in instead.Ford owns 51% of Cummins. There is a shop in Montana that is making money, doing Powerstroke to Cummins swaps and has a long list.If you here Cat is making Ford's new Diesel,it is 100% incorrect and Cat quit making truck engines.Cat's diesel truck engines do not meet emission standards and this is the reason why.
