Service Light on but no codes

About a week ago I put a new battery in. After that I get my service engine light on only when I put it into gear from park. I took it to have the codes ran and nothing showed up. Anyone have any ideas what it could be before I start tracing down wires? Thanks this is my first post here but have found lots of useful info on here!

there is a code for sure, most likely who ever was reading codes did not know how to do it right, or the scanner was not capable to read transmission codes.

Re: Service Light on but no codes

Welcome to AF kvnkrk !!

Which lights on the SES or SVS ??

If it's the SVS , when you put it into gear and it comes on, it's probley a high beam (DRL) lights coming on and the PCM noticing a lights burnt out.
Most code readers wont read these either.

Hope that helps and Keep us posted!
