Audi R8 /Revell 1:24/

My last finished Project, Revell + KA set + Zero (colour and 2K).
Some own modifications like net in engine bay, carbon on side and roof.

Wow, your R8 is stunning! Everything is just so perfect, the CF is fantastic.

By the way, how is the KA PE set? I was debating between these and the new Hobby Design's PE's.

The cleanest built R8 I've seen so far! Great work!

Wow.

Great build for a Revell-Kit. Cool CF-works.
But I think the front wheel is a little bit to high.

Greetings Sascha

By the way, did you have any fitment problems with the KA model detail set? Did you carbon fiber any interior pieces?

Best R8 i've seen yet. What cf did you use and also where is the netting from? It looks great.

Very clean build.

If I may add a bit of criticism, the stance isn't the best possible, it's to low at the rear and high at the front.

Re: Audi R8 /Revell 1:24/

Thanks a lot for comments.
The PE KA set fitting isn’t good – the worst are front and rear air ducts, almost anything fits properly.
Yes, the front is a bit to high and rear a bit too low – it will stay like that.
The carbon on the body is as I remember S27 and in the engine bay SMS – I have to check that.
The interior if full black.

The overall finishing is outstanding and clean!! I also got one and now I can use your pics as references. BTW, if the front suspensions can be as low as the rear pair, it will be perfect!

He stated hes going to leave it how it is. Plus the way revell created the suspension, wheel wells its no easy task.

BTW I keep on opening this thread as i love how the R8 came out. Looks like a tamiya kit.

PS Where is that mesh from (in the engine)? Company?

Best stock R8 model -made of the Revell kit- I know.

(Nevertheless, I´d probably have changed the wheels and hight of the car)
